The Lucy Room
We painted Lucy's room pink, a mauvy pink, over the last two weeks. A pink room. Not so bad though, the wife painted some varying width vertical stripes on the one unbroken wall that the sun streams in on. She used colors we'd painted around the house toned down with white. All in all, pretty cool.
The Twinlette (sister-in-law) brought over a new spindle crib that we setup in the corner. I kept shaking it to see if it was sturdy and I think this confused them. The point was to see how much action the crib had when it was shaken to see if it would wake the baby, not to see if it was sturdy. They'll figure it out later.
Yes, it was fine.
The wife wants me to write Lucy a poem. Maybe later today I'll put my mind to it.
-- Thoughts like you, sun sliding through the trees
-- Providing warmth and kindness.
